Malcolm McDowell is a British actor who gained international fame thanks to his role as the cynical and ruthless Alex DeLarge in Stanley Kubrick’s film A Clockwork Orange.
Before entering the world of cinema, McDowell studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and began his career on stage, which contributed to his solid acting foundation.
Nominated for a Golden Globe in 1972 as Best Actor in a Drama for A Clockwork Orange, he won a European Silver Ribbon Award for the film Evilenko in 2005. On March 16, 2012, he was also honored with a star at 6714 Hollywood Boulevard on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Motion Pictures category.
Personally, I greatly enjoyed his performance in Cat People (1982), where he plays Paul, the degenerate brother of Nastassja Kinski.
He also starred in Halloween-The Beginning, directed by Rob Zombie, and in Halloween II in 2009.

McDowell sang the first thing that came to mind… leading to the infamous scene of the Alexanders being beaten to the tune of “Singin’ in the Rain”!
It’s said that a few years later, McDowell met Gene Kelly at a party, but Kelly refused to interact with him. He hadn’t forgiven the irreverent use of his famous song in A Clockwork Orange.
His distinctive voice has also led him to voice roles in animation and video games, including The Simpsons, DuckTales, and Fallout 3.
