Frusciante Intervista

On July 1st, 2022, at 9:30 PM, Horror d’Elite will meet Federico Frusciante.

Born in Pontedera on August 28th, 1973.

In his spare time (which is almost never), he writes for Cinema and Music blogs, has his own column in the cult magazine Nocturno, and enjoys making videos on YouTube, where he has thousands of subscribers. Along with a couple of friends, he plays in a post-punk band, Superficie213 (with over 200 concerts to their credit), which has a solid following online.

He has interviewed many directors and actors, but standing out among the likes of Dario Argento and Sergio Martino is the name of the great master George A. Romero.

Moreover, Frusciante is a juror at several international film festivals, including the Montelupo Film Festival, FIPILI, Korean Film Fest, Animotion Fest, Optical Theatre Horror Fest, Movie Planet Fest, and Latronic Horror.

Never one to slow down, he is also a guest at dozens of events organized throughout Italy (from universities to underground clubs, as well as major comics conventions such as Etna Comics, Lucca Comics, Cartoomics, Palermo Comics, etc.), where he gives unconventional “lessons” on cinema and music, always speaking his mind without conforming to the “dominant” tastes.

A non-dogmatic Marxist, anarchistic in spirit but with a great desire to learn, Federico manages to do all this thanks to the support of his wife, Eleonora, his true muse and indispensable collaborator.
