The images, taken from some of the films most beloved by Dario Argento’s fans, such as Phenomena, Inferno, and Tenebrae, are blended and merged with music that initially seems to celebrate a birthday with the classic “Happy Birthday” jingle, only to transform into a whirlwind of bloody scenes.

A Film About the Life of Charles Manson
Not many people know that one of Dario Argento’s unrealized projects, as mentioned in his autobiography Fear, was a film about the life of Charles Manson. This idea was suggested to him by actor, friend, and former partner of his daughter, Vincent Gallo. Gallo even showed the director some photos of himself made up as the character; apparently, the resemblance between the two was striking. Argento had contacted all his American contacts, who provided him with tons of material about the criminal. But for some unknown reason, the project fell through. Argento explained his decision to abandon the idea by saying that, in his opinion, Americans were not yet ready to confront such recent and painful events.
