THQ Nordic announced that “Alone in the Dark,” the famous survival horror game from 1992, will have a Remake!

The new game will take players back to 1920s New Orleans and the original “Derceto Manor,” where many references to Lovecraftian horrors can be found.

The Swedish studio Pieces Interactive (known for developing many games, including “Magicka 2” and “Titan Quest: Atlantis”) has taken on the task of creating the new “Alone in the Dark,” and among the developers, one name stands out to horror game enthusiasts: Mikael Hedberg!!!

The Swedish developer will play a dominant role in production: Hedberg’s story will not only be original but will also include all previous games in the series.

Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood will return! According to official sources, Emily will resume her search for her missing uncle, asking for help from Edward, a private investigator.

Their journey will take them to Derceto Manor, a “home for the mentally fatigued,” as well as a gathering place for strange residents, “portals to nightmarish worlds,” and terrifying monsters.

To bring these monsters to life, THQ Nordic has chosen artist Guy Davis, a renowned comic book artist and collaborator of Guillermo del Toro!

THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive promise an experience filled with suspense, intense combat, and complex puzzles.

The game has been in development since 2019 and will arrive, who knows when, for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.

How many of you can’t wait to get your hands on this Remake???
