And once again, the Horror Anime d’ Elite returns to visit us with this video.

Japanese animation began around 100 years ago, when the first film was screened in 1896, just a year after the official birth of cinema. The first anime short films were shown in 1914, while the first cartoon made in Japan was presented to the public in 1917.

Although not made by the Japanese, in 1914, the first animated film was screened at the Asakusa cinema, receiving many positive reviews from the audience. Shortly after, three Japanese production companies decided to invest in anime.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (ひぐらしのなく頃に? lit. “When the Cicadas Cry”), also simply known as When They Cry in North America, is a Japanese mystery sound novel produced by 07th Expansion.

Dorohedoro (ドロヘドロ Dorohedoro?) is a manga by Q Hayashida, published in the monthly magazine Ikki until March 2015; after the closure of the latter, it was transferred to the weekly magazine Hibana.

Another (アナザー Anazā?) is a horror light novel created by Yukito Ayatsuji and published on October 29, 2009, by Kadokawa Shoten.
