  • Law Abiding Citizen

    “Law Abiding Citizen” is a 2009 psychological thriller directed by F. Gary Gray and starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx. The film provides a gripping look at justice and morality through the story of Clyde Shelton (played by Gerard Butler), an engineer whose life is turned upside down when his wife and daughter are brutally attacked during a home invasion.

    “I Am Mother” is a 2019 science fiction film directed by Grant Sputore and written by Michael Lloyd Green. This intriguing thriller takes us into a dystopian future where humanity has been nearly wiped out, and a single artificial intelligence, known as “Mother,” is tasked with repopulating Earth with a new generation of humans.

  • Dark Places

    “Dark Places” is a 2015 psychological thriller based on the novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn. Directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner, the film is set in Missouri and follows the story of Libby Day, played by Charlize Theron, a young woman who survived a family massacre when she was just a child.

    Spanish director Jaume Balagueró is known for his horror films, such as the REC saga and The Nameless (Los Sin Nombre), but with Sleep Tight (Bed Time), he ventured into a different genre—the psychological thriller.

    The plot revolves around the character of Vera (played by Elena Anaya), a young woman whom Robert keeps imprisoned in his laboratory and on whom he performs numerous surgical experiments.     The film follows the story of Ted Crawford (Hopkins), an engineer who murders his wife after discovering her affair with another man.
