The story follows the misadventures of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, three orphans who, after the mysterious death of their parents in a fire, are placed in the care of their distant relative, the evil Count Olaf. Olaf, masterfully portrayed by Jim Carrey, is determined to get his hands on the Baudelaire’s vast inheritance and will use any means necessary to achieve his goal.
