Resident Evil

Biohazard, better known to us as Resident Evil, is a series that includes numerous video games, movies, comics, books, etc.

The franchise, which began in 1996, has evolved to include many sequels of various genres, incorporating elements like action, exploration, puzzles, and plots inspired by horror and action films.

The series is credited with popularizing the survival horror genre and reintroducing zombies into popular culture from the late 1990s onward.

Let’s rediscover where the terror originates…

In 1996, the first chapter, Resident Evil, was released on PlayStation, bringing the survival horror genre to the forefront.

Following a series of mysterious disappearances and acts of cannibalism, the S.T.A.R.S. special police force investigates the incidents. After the disappearance of the Bravo Team, a new team is sent to the location, only to have to flee from a pack of ferocious dogs, ending up at the entrance of Spencer Mansion.

The nightmare begins

In the role of Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield (also protagonists in other games in the saga), the player is called to investigate the mansion and what it hides, solving complex puzzles and escaping the evil contained within.
Zombies, monsters, genetic abominations—every step in Spencer Mansion was underscored by anxiety and terror, especially since ammunition was never enough…
