Tina Turner, revered worldwide as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, has passed away at the age of 83. She spent her final days at her home in Küsnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland, after a long illness. The news was announced by her spokesperson, marking the end of an era in music history.

Born Anna Mae Bullock, Tina Turner had an immense influence on the global music scene. Not only did she pave the way for female artists in rock music, but she was also a significant figure in overcoming personal challenges, turning her experiences into a source of inspiration for millions.

Her musical career spanned over half a century, during which she showcased a range of talents not only as a singer but also as a dancer, actress, and author. Beyond her musical career, Tina Turner is also remembered for her role in the iconic 1985 sci-fi film “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome,” where she played the formidable “Aunty Entity,” the queen of the Thunderdome.
