Tim Burton Tribute
Tim Burton, born Timothy Walter Burton (Burbank, August 25, 1958), is an American director, screenwriter, film producer, writer, animator, and illustrator, known for his films with often fairy-tale and gothic settings, sometimes focusing on themes such as marginalization and loneliness.

with composer Danny Elfman for almost all of his films,
with the American actor Johnny Depp,
with the British actress Helena Bonham Carter, who was also his life partner until 2014.
In 2007, at the Venice Film Festival, Tim Burton received a Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, becoming the youngest director in history to receive such recognition.
He also won a Golden Globe in 2008 for Best Comedy Film with Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
The director has also been nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Film for Corpse Bride in 2005 and for Frankenweenie in 2012.
His films have grossed over $4 billion worldwide, making him one of the most commercially successful directors in cinema history.
