After escaping from the planet LV-426 with a group of survivors, Ripley crashes her escape pod onto the planet Fiorina 161, a remote and desolate place serving as a penal colony. Here, Ripley discovers she is the only survivor from the crew and that an alien has managed to infiltrate her pod.
