Vampires

The choice of cinematic vampires offers an endless array of subjects.

For this video, we have selected what we consider the most representative films that have left an indelible mark not only on the history of cinema but also on audiences.

Starting with Nosferatu, the silent film from 1922 by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau;

moving on to Dracula: Prince of Darkness, the 1958 film directed by Terence Fisher, and Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht, the 1979 film produced, written, and directed by Werner Herzog. This is a remake of the film directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau.

We then arrive at the two absolute and undisputed masterpieces:

Dracula by Bram Stoker, a 1992 film produced and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, based on the novel Dracula (1897) by Irish writer Bram Stoker, and

Interview with the Vampire, a 1994 film directed by Neil Jordan, based on the eponymous novel by Anne Rice.

Vampires continue to live and cannot die simply because years pass. They can gain strength by feeding on the blood of the living. They can even rejuvenate; their vital faculties can increase, and it almost seems that they renew themselves when they find their particular nourishment in abundance.

Are you ready to immerse yourself in this escalation of images where the undisputed protagonist is the Vampire?
